Individuals who are Medically frail or medically compromised client whose health status,  is likely to change or has changed because of a disease process, injury, disability or advanced age and underlying disease processes.

Some Examples:

1. Clients with cognitive and/or psychological conditions, severe developmental disabilities or traumatic injuries that are unstable;

2. Clients requiring gastric feeding tubes, intermittent catheterizations, ventilators, respirators, bowel care, or trach care;

3. Clients with unstable medical disorders such as diabetes where the blood sugars fluctuate frequently between high and low levels, Hypertension where the blood pressure fluctuates frequently, congestive heart failure where the condition may deteriorate, rapidly, seizure conditions, where the seizures are not controlled by medications and occur more than once per month, and other unstable chronic disease conditions;
